About the Editors
Rebecca Laird is a certified spiritual director and former editor of Sacred Journey, an interfaith spirituality journal for which she conducted the last interview of Henri Nouwen’s life. She has written five books and more than 100 articles on the spiritual life.

Michael J. Christensen, Ph.D., is a member of the board of the Henri Nouwen Society. He studied with Henri Nouwen at Yale Divinity School (1978-1981), and currently teaches spirituality at Drew University, where he directs the Doctor of Ministry Program. He is the author of five books on spirituality.
