These issues include the history of the canon (list of biblical books), inspiration, the history of texts and versions (including modem translations) and, lastly, the whole science of interpretation of Scripture, including the description of the various kinds of critical methods and their value. This little book, although densely written, answers many basic questions that the average person asks about the Bible. Recommended for highly motivated readers such as those who lead Bible study groups. |
