Dan Pierson is the founder of Faith Alive Books Publishing and www.eCatechist.com.
Dan has served as a catechist, Catholic school teacher, and diocesan director of religious education. His background includes consulting with religious publishers in the areas of product development and marketing.
Together with Susan Stark, he is the author of What Do I Do Now: A Guide for the Reluctant Catechist (Pflaum) and Reflections from Pope Francis: An Invitation to Journaling, Prayer and Action (Tarcher/Penguin)
After completing high school, novitiate and college studies with the Augustinians (Midwest Province), Dan graduated from Grand Valley State University, were he studied English, psychology and teaching. He received his Master of Religious Education Degree from the Institute of Pastoral Studies, Loyola Chicago.
In addition to his work with Faith Alive Books Publishing (www.faithalivebooks.com) and www.eCatechist.com, Dan is a catalyst for adult education and ministry formation.
